Amanda Batula Celebrated Her Birthday with a Gorgeous, Rainbow-Hued Cake
The Summer House bride-to-be blew out the candles on one of New York City's most coveted cakes.
Amanda Batula's birthday celebration was a little bit different this year — but the Summer House bride-to-be still had a few b-day standards in place, including sweet greetings from her loved ones and a gorgeous, gooey cake to blow out the candles.
In an Instagram post from her special day, Amanda wrote, "It’s a weird time to celebrate a birthday but an amazing reminder of how incredibly fortunate I am ... Feeling so much love today from all the special people in my life and from all of you." She added, "Although I won’t be celebrating the way I normal would, I at least have [fiancé Kyle] to get drunk on the couch and eat takeout with."
That takeout meal ended in the sweetest way. On Instagram Stories, Amanda shared videos of herself in front of Milk Bar's famous, rainbow-hued birthday cake. (This is the very cake, by the way, that Project Runway's Karlie Kloss wrangled for her 2018 wedding.)
Smiling as her family serenaded her over Zoom, the birthday girl wrote, "It's a family tradition for everyone to sing happy birthday as badly as they can." She added, "This made me so happy and emotional I almost started to cry. I love my family so much."
