See Inside Ashley Wirkus' Son's Sweet 1st Birthday Celebration

Just last March, Ashley Wirkus McAtee feasted on a blue cake at a lunar-themed fete. The (then) mama-to-be was celebrating the pending arrival of her baby boy, who ultimately arrived on May 26, 2019. And now, baby Dean Hudson McAtee is big enough to eat his own blue cake. How time flies! 

In a recent Instagram share, Ashley offered a peek inside her son's first birthday bash. "Our faces say it all!" wrote the Summer House alum, who's smiling wide in the pic beside her husband, Brad. "Can’t believe our baby is 1! What a year it has been with Dean the Dream!"

The birthday boy looks dreamy indeed, seated in his high chair with a backdrop of blue balloons. In front of him, there's a cake covered in teal icing, with a polka-dotted one sign on top. And just before the wee one smashed his fists into his first birthday cake, he posed for a portrait with mom and dad. (OK, so Dean might have snuck in one quick quality check: We spy blue icing on his chin and little fingers. But we won't snitch.)
