Ciara Miller Reveals the Glowing Results of Her "Consistent" Skincare Routine
The Summer House beauty also shared what treatment she does "every 5-6 weeks."
In October 2022, we caught up with Ciara Miller as she revealed the details of her skincare journey and noted how she keeps her skin glowing.
The Summer House cast member shared that she was getting AviClear treatments at The Dermatology & Laser Group in New York City, showing a behind-the-scenes peek via her Instagram Stories.
Ciara then shared photos of her skin changes from 2019 to 2021, revealing how much of a change she had throughout the process. “Acne kept coming back, in this similar form,” she wrote over the photos. “And now [I’m] done with my [third] treatment of AviClear. I can’t tell you how much I’ve [probably] spent on skincare in the past [three] years.”
More recently, Ciara gave an update on her skin, sharing the details of her must-have products as well as some treatments she continues to take on that have left her with notable results.
Ciara Miller gives an update on her skin and shares her go-to skincare routine
On January 3, Ciara took to her Instagram Stories to first share a glowing selfie, writing "2.5 months of a consistent skin routine."
She then revealed the details of said skin routine, mapping out the multiple products she uses and steps she takes in the morning to achieve her glow, inside and out.
For the first step, Ciara turns to PFrankMD by Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank Color Correcting Serum ($110) to help with "fading" her "dark marks. For step two, Ciara noted she "religiously" applies Dr. Dennis Gross's Vitamin C Lactic 15% Firm & Bright serum ($85) "every day" for brightness.
Next up, the Atlanta native swears by Clarins's Double Serum Anti-Aging + Anti-Wrinkle Serum ($134). "Loveeee the way this makes my skin feel," Ciara wrote over her third step.
Then, to moisturize, Ciara turns to what she calls "Holy grail moisturize," aka Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream ($65).
To top things off, Ciara finishes her routine with Peter Thomas Roth's Max Vitamin D-Fense Sunscreen Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 50 ($42) to help protect "every couple [of] hours" while "in the sun."
More details of Ciara Miller's skincare
In addition to the products, Ciara also shared some other methods she applies to achieve her desired skin.
In the Instagram Story, Ciara said she gets a "Pico laser every 5-6 weeks," which is presumably referring to the PiQo4 laser treatment that helps to remove skin pigmentation issues.
According to Byrdie.com, the laser is typically used to remove tattoos, melasma, and other sources of hyperpigmentation, and is "the most powerful, high-energy laser out there right now."
"It offers nanosecond and picosecond pulse lengths," New York-based dermatologist Hadley King, MD, told the website about the laser. "Nanosecond pulses are used first to break down larger and deeper pigment or ink particles, and picosecond pulses are used next to break down the smaller and shallower particles."
Another part of Ciara's routine? "50mg daily of Spironolactone," or a water pill that, according to Mayo Clinic "prevents your body from absorbing too much salt and keeps your potassium levels from getting too low."
The Big Apple resident noted she "could go on 100mg," but she's "a dehydrated girlie." Hey, we get it!
