Kyle Cooke Celebrated His 40th Birthday in a Shocking, Nearly-Nude Cowboy Look

Summer House is known for having some of the most epic theme parties over the years, and Kyle Cooke's birthday, on August 4, has always taken center stage. From the Season 2 Boston tea party to the Season 4 Animal House-themed toga party, there's no denying the mullet master loves to turn up. 

That's why, for his 40th birthday, we were ready to expect not just a party, but an all-out rager from the Loverboy CEO. Sure enough, he delivered with a hoe-down-themed bash that was one for the books. 

"I kinda wanna go into my 40s with a bang," Kyle states in the April 10 episode, where we saw 30 bales of hay delivered to set the scene, a mechanical bull ridden by numerous cast members, the musical stylings of the country music band Locash, Western-themed balloons, and a lot of alcohol round out the fabulous fête. 

While all these details were obviously amazing, the highlight of the evening had to be watching the birthday boy make a grand entrance in ... his birthday suit. 

As Kyle walked out to the backyard in nothing but a bandana and belt around his waist, boots, and a cowboy hat on his head, his cast mates plus numerous guests decked out in Western wear let out audible gasps and screams, cheering on the Maryland native who was practically naked. 

After Kyle's wife, Amanda, thanked him for "keeping [her] young" in a touching speech, he grabbed the mic to give a speech of his own, and then shocked the crowd by lifting up his bandana — the reveal, however, still left something to the imagination, with a smaller toy cowboy hat placed over his nether region.

Kyle's moment in the [warm] sun lasted for a only moment, however, as his cast mate Chris Leoni, Southern Charm's Craig Conover, and a pal poured a huge bucket of ice all over him from the balcony above.

A party wouldn't be complete without the iconic outfits. Every cast member was sure to bring their best, including Lindsay Hubbard, who wore chaps over a leopard-print bikini, and Gabby Prescod, who rocked a black-and-white check bikini, black cowboy hat, and red lips. 

Kyle, of course, rocked the mullet, and even added an extension piece to really go all out. 

"Kyle's 2020 New Year's Resolution was to grow a mullet for his 40th birthday and now that we're here, I'm hoping that, you know, part of his growing up and maturity will be to cut it," Amanda says during a confessional. "But God knows I can't ask for Kyle to grow up or become more mature or change anyway and I've accepted that. So, if we're stuck with the mullet, we're stuck with the mullet."
