Lindsay Hubbard Cut Her Hair into a Lob Backstage at WWHL: See Her New Look
The Summer House beauty announced, “We’re chopping my hair off,” before she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Lindsay Hubbard appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 17. While she was in the Clubhouse, the Summer House cast member spilled the tea on everything from her friendship with Danielle Olivera (see the clip above) to her upcoming wedding. But something major happened before Lindsay even started dishing: Backstage, she cut her hair into a lob.
In her Instagram Stories, Lindsay shared a peek into her pre-WWHL glam session. Before her big beauty move, the New York City publicist shared her plans with her friend and fellow WWHL guest, Samantha Feher.
Stepping into Samantha’s green room, Lindsay announced: “We’re chopping my hair off… I’m going back to short hair.” Samantha was taken aback. “No f---ing way,” she said. “Right now?” Right now, indeed: In her next Story, Lindsay showed the haircut taking place, right then and right there.
The videos showed stylist Julius Michael cutting Lindsay’s hair into a blunt lob that ended right at her shoulders. Stylist Arturo Ortiz was also on hand. “Not mad at it,” Lindsay captioned her post. But she still had a question: “Can I still get married?” she laughed in the video, gazing at her new ’do in the mirror.
In the background, Julius could be heard assuring Lindsay that her hair will be long again by the time she ties the knot with Carl Radke. But for now, Lindsay’s hair is lob-ing its best life, and you can check it out in the pics below.
This isn’t the first time Lindsay has entrusted her tresses to Julius. (Nor is she the first Bravolebrity who has worked with him — not by a long shot. The beloved stylist has worked with everyone from Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay to The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kathy Wakile.)
In 2021, Lindsay took to Instagram to share that she was experiencing an “extreme emergency” with her hair. Lindsay explained: “I had a [temporary] hair extension person (in place of my former extension lady who I loved but moved out of town), so when [Watch What Happens Live makeup artist Caroline Blanchard] did my hair for WWHL a couple of weeks ago, she alerted [Julius] that I was in need of desperate help on my head!!!”
Thankfully, Julius and Arturo created a stunning new look for Lindsay. Showcasing a new style that featured a warmer shade of blonde and loose, lush curls, Lindsay dubbed the look her “Beyoncé moment.”
