Lindsay Hubbard’s Bridal Shower Details
For her August 12 bridal shower at Cathédrale Restaurant in New York City’s Moxy East Village hotel, Lindsay dazzled in a white pleated satin minidress with a belted waist by AMUR. She completed her gorgeous look with pointed-toe Lucite slingback pumps by Steve Madden that featured a rhinestone design, and she added even more sparkle with Nicole Rose jewelry (the same Bravoleb-loved designer who created her stunning engagement ring). Her glowy, romantic makeup was done by Megan Lanoux, while Arturo Ortiz created her perfectly textured ponytail.
Lindsay’s loved ones also showed up in fabulous fashion, including Danielle Olivera, Amanda Batula, Gabby Prescod, Ciara Miller, and Samantha Feher.
In an interview with People, Lindsay shared why the restaurant was the perfect setting for a bridal shower with a summer garden party theme. “It has so much greenery, it’s almost like this greenhouse within the restaurant. It is just such a beautiful venue,” she said. “The theme just sort of matches the location.”
To make the celebration even more breathtaking, Winter House’s Rachel Clark designed jaw-dropping floral displays throughout the space. In a comment on Rachel’s Instagram post showing a behind-the-scenes look at her process, Lindsay declared it was “the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen!!!!”
According to People, guests dined on the restaurant’s potato chip omelette, black truffle rigatoni, hen-of-the-woods brochette, and Faroe Island salmon. The drinks for the day included a personalized specialty cocktail: “My go-to drink is the Barcelonnette,” Lindsay told the outlet. “They surprised me by featuring this drink at my shower and renaming it the ‘Activated Bride.’”
For an extra sweet touch, there was also a pretty pink cake surrounded by rose petals and candles. The dessert from Empire Cake featured edible pearls, gorgeous flowers, and a “Bride to Be” topper.
“The most beautiful Bridal Shower a girl could ask for!” Lindsay gushed in one Instagram post, adding in another that it was “the most perfect day.”
