Back in January, we caught up with the Summer House cast member as she was checking out wedding dresses with a group of friends at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. “I don’t even know what I want. I don’t know what kind of style, cut, [or] designer — nothing. I know nothing.” Lindsay shared in an Instagram Story at the time. “It’s definitely going to be an exploratory try-on to figure that out.”

Now that Lindsay’s Mexico nuptials with Carl Radke are coming up in November, she’s on the hunt for the ideal attire, recently documenting another trip to Kleinfeld to try on several different options.

Lindsay Hubbard goes wedding dress shopping in NYC

“I’ve been wedding dress shopping a bunch now, and I feel like every time I go, I’m a different bride,” Lindsay told People during an interview published on July 12. “There are days that I’m the simple classic bride, and there are days that I am the embellished sexy bride, and then there are other days where I’m more romantic and lacy.”

The blonde beauty shared that she loves shopping at Kleinfeld due to its capacity for “every different type of style, shape, design, fit, and appliqué that you can really figure out.”

For the occasion, Lindsay really did try on “every different type” of dress, including two gowns from Pnina Tornai that both featured bustier-style tops, lace, and floral appliqué details. In a TikTok shared by People, Lindsay revealed that she loved some aspects of the dramatic dresses, but explained why the ball gown–style dress wasn’t exactly a good fit.

“With the ball gown, I feel like a princess out of a Disney movie, and I don’t know if that’s who I am,” Lindsay shared. “I’m less of that traditional gal, and I’m definitely more of a free spirit, and so I need something a little bit more flowy and movable. And in the ball gown, Carl has to stand five feet away from me if he wants to kiss me, which is not ideal on your wedding day.”

Lindsay also tried on a dramatic strapless sheath by Tony Ward, which she “loved” for its sparkles and tassel embellishments.

“For me, I’m a Leo… as much as I want to be simple-classic, my heart tells me to go a little bit more out there,” she explained. “So I loved [the dress’s] pizzazz.”

Next up, Lindsay tried on an elegant gown by Maison Signore. The strapless satin sheath had more of a minimalist feel in terms of fabric, but still plenty of fire in terms of fit.

“I’ve tried [this dress] on five times over the course of the last few months,” Lindsay revealed, adding how much she “love[s]” the stunning style that was low cut in the front for a peek of cleavage and a high leg slit.

“If I’m gonna choose a white-white dress with no embellishments or appliqués, I need to then make sure that I’m showing skin,” she shared before going on to show how the dress also came with an utterly chic overskirt that gave it an elegant upgrade.

“It feels so bridal,” she continued. “It is just very like, ‘Whoa, you are getting married!’ And this is that moment.”

Lindsay Hubbard’s Reception Dress

While Lindsay gave fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her wedding dress shopping journey, she noted she was still keeping her final pick under wraps for the big day.

Her reception dress, however, was another story, as she was proud to show off the silver sequined minidress with a low-cut back and spaghetti straps.

“I was eyeing the dress all day, and at the very last minute, we were like, ‘OK, let’s just try it on and see how we like it,’” she told the outlet. “As soon as I put this dress on, I was like, ‘Oh my god. This is everything I wanted as my reception dress.’”

She added: “Something transformed in my body when I put it on. I just started dancing immediately and I couldn’t stop, and that’s when you know that you got to get this dress.”

Lindsay concluded by sharing her intentions for picking out each dress. “Really, all I want is for Carl to cry when I’m walking down the aisle, and get a boner when he sees me at the reception, because isn’t that what we always want as a bride — cry and then get a boner and we’re good?” she joked.
