Paige DeSorbo Has a Theory About Carl Radke & Lindsay Hubbard's Engagement Day

Season 7 Episode 13 of Summer House found the Hamptons crew processing the news of Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s engagement. And even though Carl managed to keep the proposal a surprise from most of his castmates, Paige DeSorbo has a theory that Lindsay knew the moment was coming, based solely on her choice of attire.

In Monday’s episode, after Lindsay and Carl sealed the deal, they headed to a restaurant to meet with the Hamptons crew to celebrate. Once arriving at their engagement party, Lindsay was greeted by her family and friends, which Carl had also managed to keep a secret. (To see Lindsay’s reaction, check out the preview clip above.)

As Lindsay made rounds to see her loved ones and show off her gorgeous ring, she was asked by Andrea Denver’s girlfriend, Lexi, if she was “shocked” about the proposal. “Yeah, I was like… okay, a bonfire,” Lindsay explained, as she was told by Carl that was the reason they were going to the beach.

While we'll never know if Lindsay knew about the proposal, Paige was convinced that Lindsay had an idea of what was going down that day. In her confessional, Paige explained why she thought Lindsay knew about Carl's plans.

“She wore shoulder pads to the beach. She knew she was getting proposed to,” Paige joked. She went on to say that the accessory isn’t needed when visiting the coastline. “Nobody just shows up in shoulder pads to the ocean. I feel like a bitch for just saying what everyone is thinking in their head. She curled her hair, and as she should!”

Paige also admitted that she was “proud” of Lindsay for pulling together a stunning look for the special occasion. “Yes, if you know it’s happening, pick out the best possible outfit, do your hair, get your nails done, be prepared, girl!”

Speaking of Lindsay’s fashion choice, Paige wasn’t the only one to comment on her cutout maxi dress. At the beginning of the episode, when Kyle first told the group about their housemates’ proposals, Samantha Feher hinted that she might’ve suspected something special would happen.

“[Lindsay] was wearing an epic dress, and I was like, this is a proposal dress,” Samantha said to the group.
