Paige DeSorbo Has an Important Message for the “Young Girls Who Follow” Her

Paige DeSorbo recently shared an important message about beauty standards. After the Summer House cast member attended the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards in Santa Monica, California, she took to Instagram to share two photos of herself — one with a full face of glam en route to the event and another without a stitch of makeup — to prove a point.

“I feel like recently I get so many more [direct messages] from girls in high school and college,” Paige wrote. “The top picture is a team of professionals doing my hair and makeup and the bottom picture is [me] a few hours prior. Just because people looked airbrushed on TV and Instagram it’s important to know that’s not real.

“Never compare yourself to what you see on the internet, half the things I read about myself are not even true. I think it’s important for me to show these pictures because I have so many young girls who follow me and I would never want them feeling insecure or comparing themselves to other women on the internet.”

Paige’s makeup artist for the event, Chloe Majdipour, took to her own Instagram to share a breakdown of the products she used to create Paige’s red carpet look. The items included Makeup Forever HD Skin foundation ($43), Hourglass Vanish concealer ($36), Danessa Myricks Beauty Balm Contour ($26), ColourPop Sol cream bronzer ($9), Rare Beauty blush ($20), and Milani nude creme lipstick ($6), among others.
