Excited for the Aug. 21st premiere of Tabatha's Salon Takeover? Here's your chance to relive all of Tabatha's memorable Shear Genius moments, and stay tuned for her upcoming blog!
The First Cut
Tabatha started out the competition with a bang, winning the first Short Cut Challenge by recreating her signature style on a mannequin. Her Hair-Art themed look for the Elimination Challenge - a high-fashion feathered mohawk - was praised by the judges.
The Beckham Bob
Tabatha continued her winning Short Cut Challenge streak when she turned a black-haired mannequin blond. She placed in the top three in the Elimination Challenge - replicating a celebrity haircut, the Victoria Beckham bob, for her client.
For the Elimination Challenge in Episode 3, Tabatha was tasked with transforming long locks into a shorter, sleek cut. The twist? She had use dull kiddie scissors - not exactly the ideal styling tool. But Tabatha pulled it off, taking her place in the top three for the third week in a row.
Red Carpet Looks
When the contestants had to create a hairstyle to complement one of Vanessa Williams' red carpet looks, Tabatha chose to create an attractive, elegant, upswept style.
Blue, Pink and Punk
After securing another shortcut challenge win, Tabatha selected to do an '80s punk look for the era Elimination Challenge.
Tabatha and Tyson (not exactly Shear Genius best buddies) teamed up to create wedding looks for a bride, a bride's mother, and the maid-of-honor. Tabatha lost the elimination challenge, but not before letting the judges know her true feelings about Tyson.
On Tabatha's birthday, she was voted Shear Genius Fan Favorite, pocketing $10,000 cash! (And getting in some last-minute zingers about Tyson.)
Season two Shear Genius contestants were in for a shock when it was revealed that their guest judge would be none other than past Shear Genius competitor, Tabatha, still as quick and sharp-tongued as ever!
