We Have an Update on Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby's Friendship
As it turns out, Robyn once used her son's math homework to shade her fellow RHOP cast member.
A tight friendship hasn’t always been part of the equation for Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby, but The Real Housewives of Potomac cast members might have finally figured out the formula.
On August 22, Robyn shared a photo of a math problem she helped her son Corey write while RHOP Season 2 was airing, and, yes, the Reasonably Shady podcast co-host secretly took some of her frustrations out on Ashley as you can see in Corey’s handwritten word problem.
Asking her followers if she was being reasonable or shady, Robyn tagged Ashley in the caption. “OMG I’m the worst [Ashley Darby], I may or may not have helped Corey with this math homework in 2017,” she wrote, adding no less than nine laughing emojis.
Proving how far they’ve come since then, Ashley commented with several laughing emojis of her own, writing, “Omggg … this is as shady and funny as can be.”
As fans will recall, Robyn and Gizelle Bryant confronted Ashley at her and then-husband Michael Darby’s Australian-themed restaurant, Oz, during Season 2. The argument over Ashley spreading rumors about Robyn and Juan Dixon’s relationship quickly escalated. While the two women stormed out of the restaurant, Gizelle got in one last jab, shouting at Ashley, “Who eats emu?”
More recently though, their friendship has recovered, and Ashley even supported Robyn as she shared her struggle with the “pandemic blues” during RHOP Season 6. "Your openness is one of the most beautiful things about you," Ashley commented on one of Robyn’s candid August 2021 Instagram posts.
No shade there.
