The cutthroat culinary competition, which will return for Season 21 with new host Kristen Kish, received several nominations for the upcoming 2023 Emmy Awards.

Top Chef’s 2023 Emmy Award Nominations

After assembling a set of past winners and finalists from Top Chef franchises from around the globe for an epic World All-Stars themed 20th season, the cast and crew of Top Chef received serious recognition via Emmy Award nominations.

On July 12, the full list of nominees was announced. Longtime Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, who confirmed her departure from the show in June after 19 seasons, was nominated in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program category.

The series was also recognized in four other categories: Outstanding Reality Competition Program, Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Program (for the “London Calling” episode, aka the Season 20 premiere), and Outstanding Picture Editing for a Structured Reality or Competition Program.

Another Bravo original, Vanderpump Rules, scored two Emmy Award nominations as well. Just over a month after Season 10 wrapped with an intense three-part reunion, Vanderpump Rules was nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program (for the “Lady and the Glamp” episode, aka Episode 13).

The winners will be announced when the 2023 Emmy Awards air on September 12.
