Adriana de Moura: Lea Threw Me Under the Bus
The RHOM star adds she and Black are working on repairing friendship.
Adriana DeMoura is a proud resident of Miami, but she's equally comfortable hanging out in the Big Apple—and the Real Housewives of Miami visited last week to throw her support at a summer benefit sponsored by GLAAD, the anti-defamation group that represents the LGBT community. Adriana was joined by fellow celebs like Eliza Dushku and designer Christian Siriano, and she opened up about why she feels so close to the gay community.
"I love that the gay community is so free and so sensitive," she told the Dish. "All my life I was always around gay people because I'm an artist. In the art world a lot of artists are gay and I think that comes with a sensibility, of being able to express. So I relate deeply to the whole community."
Adriana might feel differently about her fellow 'Wife Lea Black right now. She admitted to feeling very hurt and disappointed by Lea's actions this season. (Adriana has claimed that Lea is sullying her name around town; Lea has said she felt betrayed when Adriana kept her marriage a secret.)
"I pretty much felt like she sold out our friendship in order to stay relevant," she said. "She threw me under the bus. It was very hurtful." So hurtful that Adriana seemed doubtful as to the future of their friendship. "We're working on it," she added. "It's just very hard because once that trust is broken..."
Here's hoping they can repair their tattered friendship!
