Alex McCord: Bethenny Has Nothing to Do with New Attitude
The New York Housewife says she was just "fed up."
So where exactly did Alex McCord's bring-it-on mindset come from? Don't look at her partner in crime last season, Bethenny Frankel.
"My metamorphosis, if you want to call it that, had nothing to do with anything other than my being fed up," the Real Housewives of New York City star spills to TVGuide about her newfound assertiveness. "In the real world, it might be enough to think someone's an idiot. But on reality TV, you sort of have to beat them over the head with it. Otherwise, they don't know." Fair enough.
Viewers may be surprised to see a tougher side of Alex (no, we're not referring to that "S&M" dress) but her inner circle's already used to it. "I've always been empowered. It's just that now you're seeing it on TV," she tells the mag.
Does this mean last year's notorious "mean girl" Jill Zarin should be shaking in her Louboutins? Alex isn't naming names about who she'll clash with the hardest, but the Brooklynite describes the New York ladies overall as "one dysfunctional sorority. It's Kappa Kappa Housewives."
