Alex McCord on Scary Island vs. Morocco: “Between Scary and Mean, I'll Take Scary”
The #RHONY alum remembers one infamous trip as being "really, really, really funny until it wasn't."
While it's impossible to pick favorites when it comes to dramatic Real Housewives moments, The Real Housewives of New York City ladies sure do deliver some of the absolute best vacation drama. Two of their more memorable heated moments came early on in the show (Season 3 and Season 4) and both involved Alex McCord. During an interview with The Daily Dish podcast, Alex was asked to revisit two of the most iconic vacations in Bravo history and pick which was worse: Scary Island or Morocco?
"Oooh, Scary Island or Morocco. Scary Island was actually really, really, really funny until it wasn’t," she said. "Suddenly we were all really concerned for Kelly [Killoren Bensimon]. I think that was anxiety gone mad. I don’t think that there was anything really nefarious happening. Kelly’s threshold for being uncomfortable is different from everyone else’s. Whereas in Morocco…Morocco was just mean. Scary Island wasn’t mean. Scary Island was just crazy. Between scary and mean, I’ll take scary every day."
