Alexia Nepola Makes a Major Decision About Frankie's Future — and It Involves Peter
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member gets emotional while thinking about how much her eldest son has "grow[n] up."
Ahead of Adriana De Moura's song release party on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 finale, Alexia Nepola sat down with her eldest son, Peter Rosello, to talk about something serious.
Amid Guerdy Abraira's health issues as she battled breast cancer, Alexia began to think about her future, and how her older son would be involved in potentially looking after her youngest child, Frankie Rosello.
In a preview clip for the finale, which you can check out at the top of this post, Alexia asks Peter a serious question about being a potential guardian for Frankie. Find out how he responded by scrolling below.

Alexia Nepola Asks Peter Rosello to Be Frankie Rosello's Guardian
Though Alexia and Frankie are as close as can be, the RHOM O.G. is thinking about what will happen with her youngest child when she is no longer around.
"Even though your father is here, you know, your father legally cannot because of his situation, so I'm Frankie's guardian," Alexia explains to Peter about her ex-husband's legal issues. "If, God forbid, anything were to happen to me, would you become his guardian?"
Peter is honored by his mom's request, and he responds, "I've already thought about that. Of course, are you kidding me?"
Alexia Nepola Reflects on Peter Rosello's Growth
After hearing Peter's response, Alexia thought about how much he's matured over the last few years. "Peter is such a good son and brother, and he never gets the credit for it," Alexia explains while getting emotional in an interview on the episode. "Because people always focus on other things that haven't gone as well. Sometimes it just takes a little bit longer to grow up."
As Alexia told Peter, she chose not to make him Frankie's guardian when she first got her affairs in order about six or seven years earlier. "I wouldn't have either," Peter jokes about how responsible he was back then. Alexia notes that she "didn't think that you [could] cope with it and handle it at that time."
"But, you know, a lot of things have happened and changed in the last six years, and I think that you are in a stage right now of your life where, God forbid, I wasn't here tomorrow, that you would look out for him and to have the best possible life for both of you," she continues.
"He makes me happy," Peter agrees about his younger brother.
"Listen, the only way our life is complete and happy is with Frankie next to us," Alexia concludes.
