Alexis and Lydia Weigh In on #RHOC's New Season
The #RHOC alums react to some of the teaser's juiciest moments!
June 8 can't come soon enough! Just a week after a first look at the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Orange County got its big premiere, two of the show's former housewives, Alexis Bellino and Lydia McLaughlin are weighing in on some of the juicy moments teased in the clip.
Both ladies have yet to see the teaser, but have heard about many of the going-ons of the 10th season of the show, one of which being Vicki Gunvalson comparing herself to Jesus on the cross. “She’s not Jesus,” Lydia tells Perez Hilton. “And she should probably learn about Jesus.”
Alexis on the other hand seemed to think given the severity of the situation that it could be an accurate comparison. “When you get annihilated on the show, it’s pretty hard,” she explains.
As for Tamra Barney’s baptism (set to take place this season), both ladies (though surprised) were supportive in their own way. "I cannot believe that," Alexis says. "But more power to her. Soul saved, that's what matters. Let's just hope her actions stay with what a baptism really means, if you know what I mean."
"I mean, I think she needs the Lord. So that's great. I'm excited," Lydia adds. "I hope, maybe, she can inspire people to learn more about Jesus."
This season also welcomes a new housewife to the crew, Meghan King Edmonds, the wife of baseball superstar Jim Edmonds. Alexis is an acquaintance who's looking forward to seeing her on the show. "I think she's very sweet and I'm excited to watch her," she reveals. "I think she has a very interesting story. She's the third wife and 30-years-old. So third time's a charm."
