All About Scheana Marie's Engagement Ring
A lot of thought went into the 'Vanderpump Rules' waitress' custom-made jewel.
When Scheana Marie walks down the aisle with new fiancé Michael Shay, she'll already have something old and something new on her finger. That's because her custom engagement ring has a bit of both.
Knowing it was a ring she was going to wear forever, Scheana and Shay bucked tradition and went shopping for the beautiful bauble together. "We went ring shopping together at a place back home in Covina called Constantine Creations—a family-owned business and good friend of the Shay family," she tells The Dish. "Robert and Paul Avila designed my ring from scratch with Shay's input and help."
And the Vanderpump Rules star knew exactly what she wanted when she walked in. "I was specific in that I wanted a thin band with a princess cut diamond in a halo setting."
But just because everything was planned so well, it doesn't mean that Scheanas's future husband wasn't able to pull off one major surprise. "What Shay surprised me with was the diamonds in the halo setting were from a ring my dad had given my mom when I was born and she saved for a special occasion such as this!" Scheana reveals. "Knowing I have part of my mom's ring just made my engagement ring that much more special!"
The happy couple are eyeing a mountain ranch wedding in July.
