While we now know Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula as happily-engaged fiances, when we first met them on Summer House Season 1, they were newly broken-up and Kyle was hooking up with other women. The problem was that Amanda didn't know that he had been with anyone else until the end of the summer, when he admitted it. Since then, the two got back together and overcome some relationship obstacles, such as Kyle cheating on Amanda as well as a second cheating allegation, and are now engaged. When speaking with The Daily Dish podcast, the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. revealed how it's felt watching the difficult moments in their relationship play out on TV.

"I think after Season 1 when I had to re-watch Kyle making out with other girls on camera, I just learned to cope with it and see it more as a therapeutic moment when you know you're watching it back and it's kind of like that chapter is finally closing at that point," Amanda explained. "So watching this stuff back, we definitely do it all together, but it's never easy; we definitely still have had some little tiffs here and there."

"That's the big perk of reality TV: you can have the same fight again once you watch it," Kyle joked.

Kyle's and Amanda's Rocky Road to Recovery

So, how exactly does a couple survive reliving the worst moments of their relationship on TV?

"We know who we are and we know our truth and we know what really happened at least in our eyes so watching it back, it's just kind of like entertainment," Amanda said.

Kyle agreed and said that it's prepared them for watching Season 3's drama: "We've kind of gone through this twice before; [there were] some hard moments to watch in both Season 1 and Season 2 so we just watch it together and then I try to not get into that same fight."
