Amy Schumer has zero time for your body shaming and bullying about her appearance. The often outspoken funny lady has never been shy to speak up when it comes to challenging how people view Hollywood superstars — including shooting down any misconceptions that she's plus-sized. And there's a reason she is so open about the way she looks. With the help of trainer Harley Pasternak, the Trainwreck star has certainly found a routine when it comes to toning her much-discussed figure.
"I think part of her original schtick was, 'I'm this fuller figure woman,' and it was funny and it's part of her routine, but Amy's fit as F. Amy is fit and strong and has great endurance and she's fit and she's healthy," he said of his client. "Yeah, she has curvy hips, but not fat hips. You know, Khloe [Kardashian] has curvy hips, but not fat hips. It's funny just because of the way she portrays herself is sort of a self-deprecating way, but Amy's one bad biatch. She's awesome. She's strong. She's healthy. She's a great role model."
The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo author has also been open about the way that Harley has changed her views on healthy living. When promoting Trainwreck in 2015, she chatted about the ways he's challenged her. "I just honestly needed to eat super clean for the energy to have long days like that," she told L.A. Times. "No one's ever been worried about me. No one has ever said, 'You're not eating enough.' I still feel like a kid on the outside."
