On Inside Amy Schumer, Amy Schumer recruited Andy Cohen for the reunion special of our dreams. Inspired by the always feisty sit-downs from the Real Housewives galaxy, the Inside Amy Schumer reunion special had everything we could ever ask for: over-the-top fashion, lots of hair, plugs for the cast's business endeavors, and enough shade to keep you from getting a tan this summer. While Andy poking fun at the sometimes-lengthy opening segment of the reunion specials is great ("The hellos on reunion shows last for about a half an hour") the face-off between Amy and co-star/real-life sister Kim Caramele is on-point, and reminiscent of The Real Housewives of New Jersey fierceness. By the way, "Check the tape" may just become our new motto.
Yes, to really add to the authenticity, there were reaction shots, tears, a (near) walk-off, and declarations about how, in the end, the ladies are "family." We're going to give this parody two thumbs up.
But we've always known that Amy has what it takes to be a Housewife. You need to look no further than her Housewives audition (above), or her Sonja Morgan impression (below), for all the proof you could ever need of her skills.
