Andy Cohen and Padma Lakshmi Felt "Right at Home" on RuPaul's Drag Race
"Fake hair, too much makeup, and sittin' on a secret?" quipped the WWHL host about his experience on the show.
Bravolebs have a long history of making guest appearances on RuPaul's Drag Race. And on March 29, Padma Lakshmi and Andy Cohen held down the tradition and did not disappoint.
In the episode, Padma served the role of RuPaul's "extra special guest judge." And Andy made a surprise appearance toward the top of the show that had the contestants screaming in joy. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host made his entrance in a cowboy hat (as one does) and opened up about his feelings about country music.
"I love country music; I love some of the first ladies of country," Andy shared. "I love Dolly, Reba, I'll take a Judd..." That led RuPaul to introduce the day's mini-challenge, a hoe-down called "Hay Girl, Hay."
While Andy confessed that most 'Wives spend about three hours getting all dolled up for a reunion, RuPaul gave "his girls" 20 minutes to get ready for the down-home-style challenge. When all the contestants were in "quick drag," Andy quipped: "Fake hair, too much makeup, and sittin' on a secret? I feel right at home!"
After helping to judge a dance contest, it was time for Andy to "ride off into the sunset." Take a look at the high-octane clip, below:
Padma stuck around to judge the rest of the episode, and looked as fierce as any of the performers in a saffron-yellow dress.
We think it's safe to say a good time was had by all!
