Andy Cohen Hits the Met Gala With Sarah Jessica Parker
Inside his glamorous evening at fashion's biggest event.
It's one of the fashion industry's biggest nights—the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institue gala—where high-wattage icons like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Anna Wintour come together (and vamp it up on the red carpet) for a night dedicated to the art of haute couture.
Sarah Jessica Parker (wearing a black-and-white Oscar de la Renta ball gown) was also there—and she brought none other than our own Andy Cohen as her date. "I am a lucky man," he wrote on his Instagram.
He wasn't kidding: the pair were one of the most eye-catching couples to walk the carpet. The evening honored British-born designer Charles James and men were asked to wear white tie (tails, silk socks and pumps). Andy definitely looked the part, wearing Ralph Lauren. "I love looking like gentlemen," he told the New York Times.
Inside, he goofed around with plenty of A-List celebs: he snapped an fun selfie with actors Kristen Wiig, Lea Michele, and Allison Williams.
But perhaps nothing made him prouder than watching his BFF Sarah vamp it up in front of photographers. "Classic," he wrote.
