Andy Cohen Is Hosting a Major Awards Show
The WWHL host will emcee the 60th Annual Clio Awards this September.
Andy Cohen is set to host the 60th annual Clio Awards at The Manhattan Center in New York City on September 25. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host will serve as the master of ceremonies at the international awards competition for the advertising, sports, fashion, music, entertainment, and healthcare industries.
The event honors the 2019 winners, looks back on six decades of Clio history, and reveals the recipients of the coveted Grand Clio “of the year,” as well as specialty awards.
“I got my first taste of the Clios when I presented an honorary award to my good friend Sarah Jessica Parker in 2014,” Andy said in a statement. “I’m excited to be back on stage to host such a big year for Clio and help them celebrate the creative community that keeps things interesting for consumers year after year.”
Clio president Nicole Purcell said Andy was specifically chosen for his strong connection to pop culture... and for, frankly, his ability to remain calm under even the most trying of circumstances. "We have a ton of surprises up our sleeves and, after watching him host so many Housewives reunions, we knew Andy could pull off anything we threw his way.”
