Andy Cohen Explains How Different It Is to Host Reunions In Each Housewives City
The #WWHL host joked he's doing "the Lord’s work."
Turns out the only thing that Real Housewives reunions have in common is that they all get really intense. Well, that and the fact that Andy Cohen is always there in the middle of the action hosting. Andy revealed that each group of women bring a unique experience to hosting a reunion.
“I’m going to be doing the Atlanta reunion at the end of the week, and it will probably be different from the Beverly Hills reunion,” Andy recently told Entertainment Tonight. “They communicate differently in every city that we’re in, from Jersey to New York City to Beverly Hills to Atlanta.”
That being said, Andy teased that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season-end reunion, which taped last week, will include something unexpected. “Something kind of bizarre happens that triggers a series of events that are [also] bizarre, but very dramatic,” he said. “The Beverly Hills women, they keep it calm. They do get very emotional. Their words hurt, you know? It was good. I mean, Kim Richards came. Eden [Sassoon] was there for a bit. [Dorit Kemsley’s husband] PK was there for a bit. So, it was really good.”
With The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion taping on the horizon, you can be sure that Andy will try and get to the bottom of those heated allegations and rumors involving Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams. “I am going to cover it like the press is covering [Donald] Trump and Russia,” Andy said. “I am going to go all in. I am going to be relentless, and I won’t stop until I get answers … [I’m doing] the Lord’s work.”
