Andy Cohen Reflects on Carole Radziwill's Exit from The Real Housewives of New York City
The Watch What Happens Live host opened up about the Big Apple author's next chapter.
Carole Radziwill confirmed her exit from The Real Housewives of New York City last month, confirming to The Daily Dish in a statement: "After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing. I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind. My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years and I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament. I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind. I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy. Next."
And you can bet that Andy Cohen is going to miss this Big Apple lady hanging out in the mix. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host opened up about her departure with Us Weekly, saying, "I will say that we’re gonna miss Carole a lot. She was an important part of the show for six years. I’ve known her for a long time, since the late ‘90s, I think. So we obviously all wish her well.”
The journalist and author joined the series back in Season 5 (she reflects on her journey in the video above), and Ramona Singer recently commented on having to say goodbye to her friend.
"I’m sad because I love Carole inside and out. I think she’s really warm, special, down-to-earth, truthful, giving, kind, supportive of women, genuine, smart, fabulous. I’m like, wow," Ramona shared on WWHL last month. "There’s gonna be a void."
