How Andy Cohen Is Showing His Support for Joe Giudice Amid Ongoing Deportation Case
The WWHL host reveals what he's done to show support for the RHONJ husband.
As Joe Giudice waits to hear what's next in his ongoing immigration and deportation case, he's getting support from Andy Cohen, who spoke briefly about the matter over the weekend at the GLAAD Awards, where he was being honored. The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband was recently granted a temporary deportation delay in federal court after his legal team filed for a stay last month after his appeal in his case was denied.
When speaking to Us Weekly over the weekend, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen shared, “I don’t know. I hope not," when asked about whether Joe would be deported. Andy added, “I signed the petition,” which has been shared by Teresa Giudice and their family to help keep the Garden State dad in the county and not be deported back to Italy.
Joe served a 41-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud charges in 2014. With the case still in limbo, his family attorney previously told The Daily Dish in mid-April that they "will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.”
