Andy Cohen Voices Support for Kim Richards
The 'Real Housewives' executive producer reacts to her arrest last week.
Kim Richards was arrested last week in Beverly Hills for public intoxication and other charges, but Andy Cohen is rallying behind the RHOBH star to show his support.
In a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Andy was asked to react to the news.
"I reached out to Kyle and I think the family is obviously very concerned," he shares. "This is a topic that ran through the entire season that we just wrapped of Beverly Hills Housewives.
"I don't know exactly what happened, but I'm thinking of her and I'm glad to hear that she wasn't hurt and no one was hurt," he added. "I hope it leads to some peaceful resolution for her and her family."
Andy also responded to a Tweet from a fan, saying he only wants "the best" for the stars of the Housewives franchises.
Last Thursday morning, Kim was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel, according to a statement released by the Beverly Hills Police Department. She was charged with public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer, according to the statement. She is due to appear at LAX Superior Court in early June.
