Another season of the The Hotwives comes to a close on Sepetember 22, and Las Vegas has been a wild ride. After following the big personalities of the ladies of Orlando, Season 2 saw a new batch of equally-quirky characters getting into some wild antics in Sin City. The Real Housewives parody series (which streams on Hulu) kicked it up a notch by inviting an actual Wife into the mix: Lisa Rinna. Lucky for the cast, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress relayed some words of wisdom to them when she stopped by the set.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"She was telling us you just have to know you can't take yourself very seriously," Hotwives star Angela Kinsey told The Daily Dish. "It's a show and you just have to have fun with it, and not be too precious. Lisa was great. She was just really super down-to-Earth and lovely with us. She was saying that, at this point — the franchise has been on long enough and is very popular — you kind of know what you're signing up for. You can't be too surprised by some of the comments you get or the response...I think that's really smart for anyone's who's going to decide to participate in one of those shows."

Not only did Lisa stun with her advice, she did so without saying a single word. "I was in hair and makeup with her and she was so lovely, so nice," Angela recalled. "She came in no hair and makeup on, totally just fresh in the morning and I thought she was so beautiful."

What wasn't so lovely was the down and dirty drama the fictional Hotwives found themselves in during the show's sophomore season — which included a hilarious love triangle between Angela's prim and proper The First Lady, the fame-loving Ace (Keegan-Michael Key) who just so happened to be her ex, and his current girl, the very pregnant Jenfer Beudon (played by Casey Wilson). "It was so perfect to have Hotwives in Vegas because Vegas is a town where the highs are so high and the lows are devastating, and that plays out really great for a parody of Real Housewives because you see people at their absolute worst in a place like Vegas and then on some crazy high — but none of it lasts, so it's a great backdrop," she said. So, where would she like to take all those highs and lows should there be a Season 3?

"I think you either go super big, like we're annoying Americans in Europe. And we're like in some ridiculous castle that's cold and drafty and probably doesn't have a lot of running water, but we think we're fancy. Or you go super, super small," she said. "And that was [co-star] Andrea Savage's joke, it's like the Real Housewives of Arcadia [or] Real Housewives of Toledo. You go sort of a small, small, small town."
