So, Did Brian de Saint Pern and Courtney Skippon End up Together After Below Deck?

There are a lot of theories about what happened with the Below Deck couple during their last night on the yacht.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Just when we thought things were totally done for Brian de Saint Pern and Courtney Skippon this season of Below Deck, the crew members kissed and made up in the Season 7 finale.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Even though there was tension between the yachties toward the end of the season, Courtney explained during the Below Deck Season 7 After Show (clip above) that her lingering feelings for Brian — and a few drinks — motivated her to end on a good note with the deckhand. "I still liked him, of course," she explained. "We just had general chemistry, and I wanted to be around him. You want to be around someone you like."

Rhylee Gerber said in the After Show that even more went down between Brian and Courtney at the full moon party in the Season 7 finale, claiming that the two hooked up in the ocean that night. However, Courtney shot that speculation down. "Rhylee made up rumors about Brian and I swimming," she said during the After Show. "I was swimming like everyone else swims."

It's still unclear what really happened between Brian and Courtney in the guest cabin during the last night on the yacht. But one thing is for sure: This couple did not last on land. "No, we're not together now," Brian confirmed during the After Show. "I didn't want to end everything on a bad note. We did have some good times, myself and Courtney. I just wanted to fix things. I think it was just a goodbye that last night. I mean, there's so many people that's been on the show that have had romances, and it doesn't work out. That's kind of like what happens in this industry."

Brian explained why he doesn't think he and Courtney would have been able to make their romance work. "I'm sure she can agree that we are two very different people," he said. "To make a long-distance, serious relationship work, it would be near impossible."

Courtney said that she gave Brian an opportunity to spend more time with her after the charter season, which he declined. Brian actually ended up staying staying an extra week in Thailand to spend time with Ashton Pienaar and Tanner Sterback, as well as one of this season's charter guests, Molly."He preferred to spend time with the boys, which is his prerogative," Courtney said. "But that's not what I look for in a partner."

When the stew caught up with Brian the night before filming the After Show, she wasn't in a great place with the deckhand. "He said, 'Are we cool?' No," Courtney recalled. "I'm cold-hearted and he wishes he never met me, and we're not f--king cool."

It looks like Brian and Courtney will have lots to discuss at the upcoming Below Deck Season 7 reunion. Catch up with the crew backstage at the reunion, below.
