Are Carole Radziwill and Bethenny Frankel Too Hard on Jules Wainstein?
The #RHONY writer weighs in on the trio's relationship on #WWHL.
Neither Carole Radziwill nor Bethenny Frankel are holding back this season on The Real Housewives of New York City — especially when it comes to RHONY newbie Jules Wainstein. When Carole stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, she shared with a caller if she thinks that she and the Skinnygirl mogul are sometimes too hard on the recently-separated mother of two.
"'Mean girls' is very 8th grade language so I don’t think of it that way. We’re not hard on Jules at all. Jules is very open about her eating disorder. I think I’ve only had one conversation with her about it. She does have a lot of food issues, and the show mostly revolves around dinners and lunches and cocktails, so you’re around it a lot," she said, as we saw this week on RHONY when the ladies gathered to make pizza (clip below). "I don’t know. It’s this kind of thing where I just sometimes feel from her that it’s like look but don’t look, ask but don’t ask, and it’s just a very complicated thing to navigate. So, no, I don’t think we’re mean girls, but we’re not in 8th grade either."
As for any viewers' perceptions that Carole and Bethenny often agree more than ever before, she also had something to say about that. "Do I agree with Bethenny all the time on the show? I guess so. I don't agree sometimes with how she delivers her message, but I think what she says is true and accurate," Carole said, in the clip, below. "Everything she said to Luann [in the Berkshires] I had already said, so I said both last year at the reunion. I just think the way I say it is different... so, yeah, I have my own opinions and a lot of times my opinion is that I agree with that Bethenny thinks."
