So, Did That Peace Between Madison LeCroy and Danni Baird Last?

Their relationship took a surprising turn at the Southern Charm Season 6 reunion.

By Laura Rosenfeld

We have to be honest, we didn't have the highest hopes when Madison LeCroy and Danni Baird came face-to-face at the Southern Charm Season 6 reunion Wednesday night. As they discussed everything from that Instagram DM to the Colorado trip, the ladies seemed to continuously come into conflict rather than come to a resolution.

How to Watch

However, there was a glimmer of hope after Madison and Danni left the reunion set. They actually shared a nice moment alone as they vowed to address any issues with each other directly moving forward. Madison and Danni ended their conversation with a hug, and we were feeling good about their chances of actually having a friendship after all of their drama.

So, has this peace lasted? “We’re fine,” Madison recently told Decider of where she stands with Danni today. “I mean, I think. I don’t know if we’ll ever be [besties]. But also Kathryn [Dennis] has told her about our friendship and I think she’s getting a little more understanding of that. So I think possibly we’ll move forward.”

Even before the reunion, we saw that Madison and Danni had the potential to be friends at Patricia Altschul's party in the Season 6 finale. Madison apologized for everything that went down during the Colorado trip, and Danni comforted Madison after Shep Rose invited the two women from Austen Kroll's "threesome video" to the event. “That’s a very good trait to have," Madison said of Danni's consolation at the party. “I can learn from that because I’m not so forgiving at times. Honestly, I just drag it out.”

Madison told The Daily Dish last week that filming the reunion was a "nerve-racking" experience. "I was not expecting to be as nervous as I was," she said. "You've just got to go with it, and just wing it."

But she said she was ultimately satisfied with how the sit-down went and got to say everything she had hoped. "I had a lot of time to sit there. Obviously, I guess you've seen Part 1, so that whole time I was sitting there with my thoughts," Madison recalled. "Yeah, I think I had a little bit too much time on my hands to calm myself down."
