The Shahs of Sunset star opened up about where things stand with his estranged wife today during his visit to Watch What Happens Live Sunday. "We're separated in the middle of our divorce," Mike told Andy Cohen (clip above). "In California, there's a six-month cooling off period."

Though Mike and Jessica were initially not in a good place when she filed for divorce in the fall, he said their communication has improved recently. "I'm very fortunate. After our problems, I guess, and going back-and-forth being very aggressive with each other, now we've become a little more cordial with each other," Mike said. "So we keep in touch. We touch base. Look, five years together, she was 21 when I met her, so we shared a lot of memories in very pivotal years of her life."

However, it may take more time to repair Jessica's relationship with Mike's parents, who he said are angry with both of them about the marriage ending. "That's my biggest regret of everything is that my parents were so hurt about everything because they opened their arms and their life to Jessica and welcomed her with open arms and then when this happened, they feel like they were betrayed," he said.

After she announced her plans to divorce Mike, Jessica told TMZ that he was "getting everything back," including that stunning engagement ring. Mike confirmed on WWHL that Jessica is not seeking spousal support and she returned the bling. "We had a short marriage. I supported her for the last five years, and she realized that, 'Look, I'm not gonna be with you, so this token of our love for each other doesn't mean anything. You might as well take it back and do whatever you're gonna do with it,'" he explained.

In fact, Jessica seems to have totally moved on with her life, even being spotted out and about with a new man shortly after she announced the divorce. However, Mike said that news hasn't fazed him. "I have nothing to say about it because I don't care," Mike told Andy when asked about the guy Jessica has been spotted with. "No, look at me. They're lining up. Do you think that I care that she's with whoever she's with?"

Later on during the WWHL After Show, Andy told Mike that "Jessica tweeted 'LOL' about you being so happy. She doesn't believe it." That tweet seems to have since been deleted, though Jessica did tweet "you are making my night" at Andy during the episode.

Jessica's message prompted a very heartfelt response from Mike about the end of their marriage. "I love Jessica. I will always love her. It's been very hard for us through this entire process. I went through months of depression, and I've finally worked up the courage to start dating again, and it's hard for the both of us because we shared so many memories," Mike revealed. "I really thought I was going to be with her for the rest of my life, and it just didn't work out that way."
