Amid Separation, Ashlee Holmes Malleo and Pete Malleo Reunite for Son's Birthday
Here's how The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum reacted to her ex's surprise visit.
More than a month after announcing their separation, Ashlee Holmes Malleo reunited with husband Pete Malleo in honor of their son's latest milestone.
Pete surprised his son, Cameron Hendrix Malleo, in Las Vegas, where he and Ashlee have been visiting her mom, Jacqueline Laurita, for the past month. "Well.. @petemalleo decided to make the trip to Vegas for Cameron’s birthday!" Ashlee captioned a couple of cute photos of Pete holding his son in his arms. "Cam’s reaction was PRICELESS. Grateful."
Pete shared another photo of himself and Cam, simply captioning it with a red heart emoji, which really says it all.
He also gave fans another adorable glimpse at his visit with his family.
Cameron officially turned 4 years old on August 30, which both of his parents couldn't help but commemorate on Instagram. "Happy 4th birthday to my amazing son, Cameron Hendrix Malleo. I will never be able to fully describe the overwhelming love that I feel for this little human of mine. He’s just the best," Ashlee gushed in the post. "I feel so blessed that I get to be his Mommy. (Also, very grateful to have gotten through age 3. If you know, you know.)"
Pete posted the same photo of Cameron on his Instagram and wrote, "Happy 4th Birthday to my Cameron."
Ashlee announced her separation from Pete after nearly two years of marriage in a statement in her Instagram Story on July 22.
“Pete and I have been through so much together over the last ten years of our lives as not only best friends, but partners in navigating parenthood. This was a difficult decision for us. We intend to always be in each other’s lives, and continue to support one another as we grow as individuals. We will continue being loving, dedicated parents to our son Cameron, who we both love more than anything," Ashlee wrote. “Our new goal in our journey through life together is to become the best co-parents that we are capable of being. Regardless of your opinions, we ask that you please think of our son and try your best to respect our family during this time."
