Ashley Darby Shares How Son Dean Feels About Becoming a Big Brother

"It’s truly been a blessing," The Real Housewives of Potomac mom said of baby No. 2.

Ashley Darby just announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Michael Darby, and her eldest child, son Dean, has already made his feelings about becoming a big brother very clear.

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member thanked fans for all of their love and support following her announcement on September 8 in a post on Instagram that also featured a collection of photos of herself, Michael, and Dean as they prepare to welcome the new addition to their family. "We sincerely appreciate the love you’ve shown to us," Ashley gushed in the post. "It’s truly been a blessing."

Dean, who, in the photo, wore a T-shirt with "I'm gonna be a big brother" written on it, along with an illustration of a little dinosaur looking at an egg, already can't contain his excitement over welcoming a sibling. "It’s like Dean already knows a change is coming because Mommy and Daddy have been getting lots of hugs and kisses," Ashley shared in the post. "We’re not complaining one bit."

Dean, who celebrated his first birthday in July, also expressed his enthusiasm over becoming a big brother in a video in Ashley's Instagram Story. "You're gonna be the best big brother ever," Ashley tells her son in the clip, which is captioned, "My little love."

Dean helped the Darbys share the happy news of Baby No. 2 in a video posted by Ashley on Instagram on September 8. "Dean has an announcement to make," the video said before showing a photo of Dean in his "I'm gonna be a big brother" T-shirt. "Baby D2 arriving February 2021."

Ashley also wrote in the post, "There’s no hiding this big belly anymore! We are elated to share our news with you! To say we are thankful is an absolute understatement."

In case you were wondering how Ashley is feeling about becoming a mom again, well, she also made that very clear on Instagram. "In the pregnancy peace bubble and loving it," Ashley captioned a photo of herself holding her baby bump.
