Did Ashley Darby's Separation Have Something to Do with the Other RHOP Ladies?

The #RHOP restaurateur set the record straight.

By Laura Rosenfeld

The news of Ashley Darby's separation from her husband, Michael Darby, wasn't the only thing that shocked The Real Housewives of Potomac during Part 2 of this season's reunion. The ladies were also taken aback when Michael implied that Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Charrisse Jackson Jordan contributed to the strain on his marriage with Ashley.

Ashley gave her take on Michael's comments on Twitter as Part 2 of the reunion aired. "A lot of things factored into our separation, however outside negativity never helps," she wrote.

During the reunion, the RHOP couple explained that some of what contributed to their decision to separate included a lack of communication, Ashley not feeling "valuable" in the relationship, helping Ashley's mother out financially, and their 29-year age difference.

But all in all, Ashley is staying optimistic when it comes to her separation. She explained during the reunion that her separation is just a "trial" to "see if maybe some time apart would bring us back together," and the couple is trying to reconcile with the help of counseling. "It was really almost two weeks ago that I had the epiphany that I don't want a divorce," Ashley said. "I want to get back together, but I'm only 50 percent, Michael has to be on the same page as me."

In the end, Ashley and Michael said they were both committed to trying to make their marriage work. Whatever the future holds for Ashley, she's excited to experience what's next. "This has been an amazing year filled with lessons!!" Ashley tweeted during Part 2 of the reunion. "I can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank You for all the love and support!"

How did Ashley cool off from being in the reunion hot seat? By channeling Queen Bey, of course! Check out the fabulous moment, below.
