Ashley Darby Gives an Update on Life After Welcoming Her Second Child
The RHOP mom is "currently in the throes of early postpartum."
Ashley Darby is feeling it all now that she's a mom to two sons. The Real Housewives of Potomac mama welcomed her second child just days ago (on March 2, to be exact). and she shared an update on how she's handling it all a week after giving birth in an emotional Instagram post.
"I am currently in the throes of early postpartum including round the clock feedings, engorgement, blebs and perineum healing. All that said, it’s crazy how much I still love this whole journey! From the days of loving on the belly to nurturing little humans, it’s so rewarding. That’s not to say those aforementioned aspects aren’t tough, but they feel like the smallest price to pay for this miracle. (Still so sappy)," she wrote on Tuesday (March 8).
This isn't the first update from Ashley since her firstborn, Dean Darby, became a big brother. Shortly after she welcomed her baby last week. she paid homage to her baby bump. "Even though it’s been just over 24 hours since we parted, I’m missing the Bump already. Sheerly, utterly, truly amazing - the human body," she said on Instagram.
As of press time Ashley had yet to confirm the name of her second child with husband Michael Darby. We do know this about the newborn, as she shared on Instagram when she announced his birth: "He is absolutely incredible and amazing, and we're over-the-moon excited."
