It's Getting Serious: Ashley Jacobs' Boyfriend Has Met Her Family

Southern Charm's Ashley Jacobs went public with her new relationship back in December. She revealed that she is now dating Mike Appel, the Brand Allies and Chief Matching Officer at Related Garments. At the time, she told Us Weekly of their relationship: “I’m so happy. It’s weird having something so healthy. It feels too good to be true, but I think [that's] how most things are to be honest with you.”  

Well, it appears the two are still going strong — and are actually stronger than ever because Ashley brought Mike to meet the fam! She shared a photo on Instagram of the two with her mother and nephew, writing, "Momma + nephew + boyfriend = happiness." And it definitely seems that equation added up, judging by the huge smiles on everyone's faces.

Ashley previously joked that, in contrast to past relationships, she had now "found someone close to my own age." And she admitted that despite being in such a good place with Mike, she still finds herself sliding into old habits: “I still live in those moments even with my current boyfriend. It’s like, I don’t call him back right away and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, is he gonna pick up my phone call? Is he gonna be mad?’” she shared. “And he’s not and I’m like, ‘I have to re-train my brain, you know, this is healthy! That’s what it’s supposed to be!’ And I’m not saying that I was never in another healthy relationship, I was. I just don’t remember. It’s like, I have amnesia everything prior to this.”

Still, it seems like everything's going well for the couple: "Thanks for making me smile!!" she wrote to Mike on his birthday.
