Heather Gay Previews Her Below Deck Adventure Charter: “All the Feels”
The RHOSLC cast member will be setting sail on the newest Below Deck franchise to celebrate “the best kind of friendships” in Norway.
Heather Gay is ready to raise a glass of champagne on Below Deck Adventure. After the new series was announced on September 7, revealing that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member will be coming aboard for a charter this season, she shared some behind-the-scenes photos and videos from her getaway in Norway.
“All the feels! Norway has my heart,” Heather captioned the September 7 slideshow, noting that she will be “celebrating the best kind of friendships” when Below Deck Adventure debuts on November 1 on Bravo. Among the friends she tagged in the post (and whose name she included in a hashtag) was RHOSLC’s Angie Harrington. She also tweeted about the big crossover moment.
Meanwhile, several other Housewives expressed their excitement in the comments of the post, which was set to the tune of Ethan Hodge’s “Slipping Through My Fingers.” They included RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose and Jen Shah, as well as The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett. “I cannot wait!!!” Heather’s cousin Whitney wrote.
Over on Twitter, Below Deck Mediterranean boss Captain Sandy Yawn stuck with the theme in welcoming the new show to the Below Deck family. “Can’t wait to see Norway!” Captain Sandy tweeted on September 7, replying to the teaser in which Heather jokes about having sex in the yacht’s hot tub.
Before she sets sail, though, the Bad Mormon author will be returning to RHOSLC Season 3, which premieres on September 28, along with Jen, Whitney, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, and new friends Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington, and Angie Katsanevas. Amid the cast’s growing tensions and changing dynamics, Heather’s latest antics in the trailer include twerking lessons.
A press release adds about what else she'll be up to in Season 3, "Heather Gay is working on her upcoming memoir, Bad Mormon, about her experience with religion and community, and, stepping out of the Church’s shadow to form a non-denominational choir. Her bond with Jen is stronger than ever, but cracks begin to form in the foundation of her friendship with one of her longest and closest pals."
“We are pulling on a thread on a sweater,” Heather says in the sneak peek. “This is not the end. This is the beginning.”
