Captain Sandy Takes a “Risk” in How She Handles Deckhand Jason Gaskell’s Issues with the Team
The captain wants to find a way to “defuse” the situation in this first look at the October 3 episode of Below Deck Med.
Amid ongoing romantic tensions within the crew and a new charter ready to vacation, Captain Sandy Yawn is also learning about a conflict among the deck team in a first look at the upcoming October 3 episode of Below Deck Mediterranean.
When bosun Storm Smith meets with Captain Sandy to discuss the issues with deckhand Jason Gaskell, she knows that no matter the outcome, there is one thing she needs Jason to do as they prepare for a new charter and she knows it’s a “risk” as she tries to “defuse the situation” with the deck team. Although Jason wants to quit, she needs him to stick around for one more charter because the guests are literally about to come aboard for their trip.
To find out if Jason agrees, press play on the above first look at next Monday’s episode. Regardless, he doesn’t feel as if the pieces of the puzzle are locking into place for him, as he notes above: “Sometimes it just doesn’t click, and it’s not clicking.”
Even with all this happening, the crew must press on and prep for their new charter, which means it’s preference sheet meeting time. “This is going to be a shorter charter,” Captain Sandy tells the crew about this party-ready group. Check out the full preference sheet meeting below.
