Here's the Real Reason Hannah Ferrier and João Franco Don't Get Along

There's always drama among the crew on Below Deck Mediterranean, but few feuds have ever gotten as intense as the beef that has brewed between Hannah Ferrier and João Franco this season. Whenever there's a crew night out, it's basically guaranteed that there will be at least one heated moment between these yachties. 

Unfortunately, that's provided a pretty sticky situation for Brooke Laughton since Hannah is her boss, and she's been cozying up to João as of late. But being in the middle of this drama seems to have at least given Brooke the ability to unpack it all.

The Below Deck Med stewardess explained what's really at the heart of Hannah and João's conflict during the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show on Tuesday (clip above). "I think the biggest issue is that they're both real alphas in personality and I think that they clash a lot. They're both fighting for that sort of ego," she shared. "I don't know, they just butt heads a lot."

João's superior, bosun Conrad Empson, previously provided a similar take on the Below Deck Med beef when The Daily Dish caught up with him last month. "They were both massive personalities, and João wanted to try and better Hannah every time. And they were both gonna clash from the start," he said. "And yet, it never really gets any better, does it?"

It sounds like João himself has gotten some more clarity on his issues with Hannah since this season of Below Deck Med ended. "With such a large crew working together, going out, and living in such tight quarters, different personalities are bound to clash," João said during a recent interview with Bravotv.com. "I think before I state my opinion of her from a personal perspective, I can’t say anything bad about Hannah until I fix my own issues. If I were better towards her, she might have been better to towards me..."
