Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Dani Soares Welcomes Her First Child
The second stew's baby girl is officially here.
Dani Soares is officially setting sail for motherhood. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew has welcomed her first child, a baby girl.
Dani announced the happy news of her baby's arrival on Instagram on May 29, posting a sweet close-up photo of herself holding her newborn's hand. "She is here. She is perfect. And we trying to figure this thing out. We both healthy and happy," Dani wrote in the caption of the photo.
She went on to conclude, "Thank you for all the support. Will post more once mummy had some rest."
Dani first confirmed her pregnancy on Instagram in April in a post in which she put her beautiful baby bump fully on display. "It's just you and I little baby," she captioned the post.
She continued to share updates on her pregnancy with one glowing selfie after another, thanking fans and her Below Deck family for all of their messages of love and support, as well as opening up about embarking on motherhood for the first time. "From the moment I knew you were here, I've been making sure I'm doing everything I can to help you grow healthy inside of me and to make sure you'll have what you need when [you're] out," Dani wrote in a post on Instagram on May 5. "This is not how I dreamed, not how I planned, but [you're] not unwanted. Bringing a life to this world is a blessing and you are here to show me I have a reason to keep going and a purpose in this life. [You're] already so loved."
Dani, who is currently based in Sydney, Australia, later shared that she would be welcoming a baby girl. "When [I found] out I was pregnant, all I really wanted was a healthy baby and didn't really care about anything else," Dani wrote on Instagram on May 12. "But now, I'm looking forward to having my little girl and developing that mother and daughter relationship."
Following the birth of her baby, Dani said during a "Pita Party" chat with her fellow Below Deck Sailing Yacht stews Daisy Kelliher and Alli Dore that she hoped to continue juggling her job as a beauty therapist and studying to become a nurse with motherhood. "Yeah, I want to try my best to keep studying. I don't want to stop it. I should have a month holiday, after the baby is born, from school. It works really well with school holiday," Dani explained. "So, at least, you know, it's a month without studying, without work, just me and baby. And then I can just go back to studying slowly and then after work. So it works well, actually."
Dani gave even more of a glimpse into her life in the weeks leading up to bringing home baby in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider.
