The Below Deck Season 7 Crew Is Causing a Stir with Their... Feet?!

Even Andy Cohen has questions about it...

Was Ashton Pienaar Jealous of Abbi Murphy’s Engagement?

Of all the crazy things that have happened so far this season of Below Deck (charter guest Brandy's medical emergency, Abbi Murphy's departure, Kate Chastain and Ashton Pienaar's makeout session), there's one thing that seems to have fans fired up more than the rest: the Valor crew's feet.

How to Watch

Yes, many Below Deck fans seem to be taking issue with how the yachties' feet look this season. The crew members and guests are generally not permitted to wear shoes on board the yacht so as to prevent damaging the floors, which explains why they don't always look the cleanest after a hard day's work.

Even Andy Cohen questioned the crew's cleanliness when Ashton appeared as a guest during the November 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen (clip above).

"Ashton, we know that you and the deckhands work long hours, but did Tanner [Sterback] not even have time to wash his feet before getting into bed?" the host with the most inquired.

Tanner Dirty Feet Below Deck

Ashton replied, "Hey, we need to ask Tanner about his feet."

Stew Courtney Skippon came to the crew's defense on Twitter after the November 4 episode of Below Deck. "I hate to be the advocate for dirty feet here (‘cause gross): but we barely have time to wash our faces let alone the bottoms of our feet," she tweeted. "Other things we prioritize over this include eating and sleeping which we don’t get to do much of either."

And, well, sure enough, Courtney found herself at the center of the so-called "#dirtyfeetgate" after cameras caught her putting her feet in Brian de Saint Pern's face in the November 11 episode of Below Deck. "They are dirtier than I could have ever imagined," she tweeted before just providing us with the stills to immortalize the moment. "Y’all are still really mad about #dirtyfeetgate, so I took the liberty of providing you all with a step by step guide. Dirty Feet for Dummies, if you will."

Thanks for the visual, Courtney!
