Did Anything Romantic Happen Between Below Deck's Ashling Lorger and Eddie Lucas?

When Below Deck cast members Eddie Lucas and Ashling Lorger appeared on the January 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen took it as an opportunity to gently stir the pot. 

“I don’t want this to get awkward, but actually, I love when things get awkward,” said Andy before reading a tweet from a viewer that said, “I don’t know about anyone else, but I think Eddie and Ashling would make a really cute couple.” 

Though the question would likely make most duos cringe, Ashling and Eddie handled it quite well. In fact, Ashling admitted she was even expecting it. “I knew this was coming!” said the stew. “Yeah, we would be cute! Don’t you think, Eddie?”

“So cute. The cutest,” he replied, before offering up a logical reason a romance wouldn’t work out between the two. “Too bad you’re in Australia.” 

Luckily, Eddie’s point didn’t seem to break any hearts. “I know. So far away,” Ashling agreed. “I just don’t think it would ever work because we are just too far away.” 

Andy didn’t let the yachties off that easily, though. “Was there a moment on the boat where you were like, hmm?” he asked. 

“I don’t think so,” Eddie revealed. “ I think we were just good friends the whole time.”
