Bethenny Frankel: Enough With the Breastfeeding in Public
Hungry baby? Get a room, says B.
Oh, baby! Bethenny Frankel's stirring up quite the controversy.
Never one to keep her opinions to herself, The Bethenny Ever After star shared her thoughts on breastfeeding when she stopped by the Rachael Ray Show. "I think, unless you are Pamela Anderson, you shouldn't be showing anyone your breasts besides your husband and your baby."
Sharing her trademark wit, Bethenny — who does breastfed 8-month-old daughter Bryn — then told the audience, "Whipping out your boob at the dinner table is a good diet tip for everyone else." (Check out Bethenny's best one-liners and funniest moments.)
Hold your punches, Mommy Tysons. B acknowledges the other side of the breastfeeding fence and clarifies on her blog, "I don't impose my beliefs on others and I don't judge those choices... In my life, I opted to find a quiet place to feed my child. I thought it was a beautiful, intimate and private moment between myself and Bryn and I personally didn't feel comfortable doing it in front of other people outside of my home." Plus, the paps would just love to snap that photo, no?
