Bethenny Frankel Glides Through on 'Skating with the Stars'
"I don't care if they give me zeros," she says.
It'll take more than a couple harsh scores to keep Bethenny Frankel off the rink.
"I am going to go all the way," the Bethenny Getting Married? star told viewers during last night's episode of Skating with the Stars.
Dressed in a polka dot mini-dress and totally channeling Minnie Mouse, B skated her little heart out and wore a huge smile throughout the routine. We thought she did fab, but the judges were of a different mind.
Laurie Ann Gibson said she looked "stiff" and told her: "It felt like you were thinking about everything." (Of course she was! Have you met Bethenny?)
Meanwhile Johnny Weir felt her performance was "put on" but that she improved from last week. The skating star said that he'd like to see a little "more character" in her upcoming routines.
And Dick Button raided his pantry for metaphors, telling B, "You're a tough cookie, you're a food fighter, you're a great chef; Why don't you throw all of these ingredients together, flambé it a little bit, and cook us up -- and skate us up -- a nice crème brulée?"
Online, critics aren't being much nicer. Hollywood Life called B "wonderfully middle ground," while CNN said she "was able to spin and twirl herself into complete dizziness."
In Bethenny's corner is Tubular, who hope that she "lay[s] the smackdown on Weir if he keeps being mean."
Also supporting our skater last night was our own Andy Cohen, who tweeted: "A HILARIOUS time at Skating w/ Stars cheering on @Bethenny aka Minnie Mouse. An INSANE world."
Insanity and negative reviews aside, Bethenny was still glowing post-performance, proudly saying, "I just had the best time of my life. I don't care if they give me zeros."
