Bethenny Frankel's Dating Advice for Other Single Moms
The 'RHONY' star dishes tips and shares why she thinks dating when you're older is better.
If the thought of dating after divorce, especially as a single mom scares you—you're not alone.
It's a subject matter that's extremely familiar to Bethenny Frankel, who can also relate to those who are afraid their professional success will hinder their shot at romance. "I think that women are insecure about having children and getting back out there again," she shares with the Daily Dish exclusively. "I think that women are also worried that men don't want a successful business women."
But the best selling author thinks that dating later in life has its advantages. "I think when you're older, you're wiser and you've weeded things out," she says. "You know what you want."
"When you're younger, you have too many choices and you can kinda really go any which way about it," the Real Housewives of New York star says. "When you're older, you're a little more selective."
She also claims not to try to make something work if there's an obvious deal breaker. "If you're divorced and you have a child, and someone doesn't want to date someone with a child, there's no reason to even have coffee," she explains.
As for those men who aren't into fearless females? Don't waste your time. "If you're a woman who is a strong woman and a man can't handle that, then there's the door," she says.
