Bethenny Frankel’s Not Worried about $100 Million Lawsuit
"I only sweat the small stuff,” B. admits.
Believe it or not, Bethenny Frankel isn’t stressing about that gargantuan lawsuit against her. No, really.
“I work really hard; I have always had a conscience and integrity, which is what you do when no one is looking,” she explains to The Today Show with her signature wit. “I can't control what other people are doing nor do I want to. I'm happy where I am and I only sweat the small stuff. I torture myself more over a $40 Gap T-shirt than a multimillion-dollar lawsuit.”
The Bethenny Ever After star’s former manager, Doug Wald is suing her for $12 million from Bethenny’s sale of her Skinnygirl brand to Beam Global Spirits & Wine back in March. Oh, and an additional $100 million in punitive damages.
Thinking back on the building of her empire, Zen Bethenny confides, “I don't believe in regret, but I wouldn't have worried so much.” As for that new mental outlook, one fan joked on Twitter, “@bethenny, you stress over $40 on Gap t-shirt? How did u pull trigger on a Birkin?” Bethenny’s thrifty response? “Either ex-boyfriend or consignment store.”
