Countess LuAnn de Lesseps' next foray into acting won't be much of a stretch from her normal life — save for the dead bodies, of course.
TV Guide reports that the Real Housewives of New York City star landed a role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit opposite Detectives Benson and Stabler where she'll play a "rich society woman who discovers her boyfriend dead."
Well, she's got the "rich society" thing down pat, but does the Countess have the acting chops to screech and scream in horror and shock? Well, she did turn up on an episode of Royal Pains last year. Plus, if you can make it through three seasons' worth of Real Housewives reunions, you can do just about anything.
LuAnn's appearance on SVU is expected to air next month.
