"I am thrilled to say that I will be working with @katespadeny as their Exclusive Brand Stylist!! I'm so excited!!" he tweeted.
According to WWD, Brad's two-year deal involves elevating brand awareness for the company's ready-to-wear category and styling press events, fashion shows, ad campaigns, and e-commerce shoots. Brad reportedly met his new boss, creative director Deborah Lloyd, when he styled Kate Spade's fall show during New York Fashion Week, but they didn't start talking about anything bigger until August. Deborah told WWD,"I have been a fan of Brad's sense of style and spirit from afar for some time now. When I began to consider a stylist with whom I could really build an ongoing relationship and one whom I trusted, he was the first that came to mind. Besides being a great stylist, he is a joy to be around and a true gentleman. He keeps me laughing and keeps me on my toes."
Brad says he wants to take the "Kate Spade girl to the next level" while remaining true to the company's aesthetic: punchy patterns, vibrant colors, and overall "exuberance."
